We appreciated this budget hotel. We had double room to ourselves with the garden, tea and the bedroom. They offered ironing at no cost too. The location was tranquil, near an art museum. Plus the venue was walk from restaurants and pubs.

The hotel facilities were good with a bar and snooker table etc
The smell of the rooms wasn't pleasant and the standard of room was very very basic and needs updating.

The location here is great, right next to Cookham train station and a variety of dining spots to choose from. Plus, there's the Tarry Stone nearby for more options. 🚉

I like the layout of the hotel and the surrounding nature. It's a quiet nice place, with beautiful scineries from room windows. Great country side peaceful place.
I don't like the rooms which are dusty and small. You get to see that in the morning when you have the sun-light entering the room. Probably the cleaning personnel is not the best. One day I was amazed to find two used lady socks on my bed. Breakfast starts at 8, but for business travelers 7 would be nice. And if you arrive at the hotel at 22 - 23 you don't really have anything to eat (only bar open till 23 - but no food served at the bar).
